Does it hurt?
Yes, there are needles involved, there is pain
involved. Honestly, if you are so concerned
about the pain and not the final result of a
tattoo or piercing, then you are not ready for
one.
How can I prepare for a tattoo or piercing?
Eat an hour before you come in. Bring a
soda. Try not to drink alcohol the night before,
it leads to excess bleeding. Definitely do not
come in high or drunk. Come relaxed and ready to
go and optimistic.
Can you tattoo me with
glow in the dark ink? What about chrome ink?
No. I feel it is unsafe. Some people have had
severe reactions or long term health problems
from it. I will not use or support it. Many
tattoo magazines have published articles on the
subject and professional tattoo supply companies
do not sell it.
Can I get a piercing if I am underage?
All underage piercing must have the following
documentation.
Parent or legal guardian must be present with a
state issued ID. Legal guardian must have legal
documents proving guardianship.
Minor must have birth certificate and a picture
ID to match names.
Parent and child names must match. If they do
not due to divorce/remarriage, then legal papers
must be provided to prove parental custody.
We have a strict policy for your child's safety
and protect against fraud. There are no
exceptions given to our policy and we reserve
the right to refuse service to anyone for any
reason.
Can I get tattooed if I am 17?
No, Florida law says that you must be 18 with a
state issued picture ID. You can not get a
tattoo even with parental consent, it is
considered child abuse. Sorry.
Can I call to get an exact price on a tattoo?
Tattooing is a visual art. It is not
possible to price over the phone. We welcome you
to come in and speak with us about a design.
Are tattoos expensive?
It really depends on the art you want. We use a
completely disposable set-up. We even use
disposable tubes, which isn't often seen in
studios. We go above and beyond cleanliness.
Price increases depending on size and location
on the body. Overall, with the consideration
that a tattoo is forever, it is not an expensive
item at all.
Does the price include a tip?
No, but with any service a tip is well
appreciated.
Do you sell drug paraphernalia?
No. Ask yourself this...would you expect to see
your dentist or doctor selling bongs and rolling
papers? The art of tattooing and piercing is to
be taken very seriously. It should be fun, but
professional. That is why our staff is
completely drug and alcohol free.
Is it okay that my friend tattoos me at his
house? He is a professional.
No, absolutely not. No professional tattoo
artist is going to do work out of his/her house.
Just because you think it is clean, it is not.
There are many factors involved for a clean
sterile tattoo, not just new needles. Many
incurable diseases are transmitted through
unclean at home piercing and tattoos. HIV and
Hepatitis C are just two of them. Not to mention
that cover up tattoos are generally difficult to
do and are expensive. Think before you ink.
Can I bring in my children?
We are an adult, professional environment.
We ask that children are left safely at home.
Our art requires full concentration. Children
under 18 are welcome in the studio ONLY with an
adult guardian and ONLY if getting a piercing
procedure performed. Please respect this policy.
